Mrs. Hickman was saved at the age of 10 on Cooley Street in
East Chattanooga, Tennessee. She is the Executive Director
of Covenant Keypers, Inc., a Christian marriage ministry
founded by her and her husband, Gary. She and Gary have
been married for 33 years. They have one 30 year-old son,
Quincy, and one 3- year old grandson.
After working 16 years with the federal government, Mrs.
Hickman took early retirement in 1997. Since her retirement,
Mrs. Hickman has worked full time in Christian ministry, in
particular, marriage ministry and women’s ministry.
Mrs. Hickman is a spiritual counselor to both single and
married women, a bible teacher and a women’s conference
and retreat Speaker.
As Director of Covenant Keypers, Inc., Mrs. Hickman’s
primary responsibility is to work alongside pastors to assist
them in establishing ongoing marriage programs, as well as
assist them in training and certifying married couples in their
congregations to do marriage ministry.
In addition, Mrs. Hickman and her husband are marriage
workshop, retreat, and conference speakers. Mr. and Mrs.
Hickman serve as marriage mentors and serve as counselors
for pastors and churches throughout the Chattanooga
community and the surrounding area.
Mrs. Hickman has a bachelor’s degree in Business
Management and is currently pursuing her Masters degree in
biblical counseling at Psychological Studies Institute.
Mrs. Hickman’s goal in life is to work diligently to influence
and encourage married couples to enjoy a growing, God-
healthy life-time marriage and to inspire Singles to be content
in whatever state they find themselves.
